  SOS Children’s Villages Thailand

  CP-Meiji joined the “World Milk Day” campaign with the “Drinking Milk for Children” CSR activity in its 2nd year, with scholarship grants and Meiji products handed out to the children at SOS Children’s Villages Thailand. On July 21, 2017, CP-Meiji Co., Ltd., led by Chalinee Poonlarbmongkol, Assistant Director of Corporate Affairs, gave Meiji Pasteurized Fresh Milk and scholarships worth over 60,000 Baht from the “Drinking Milk for Children” activity to SOS Children’s Villages Thailand with Mr. Wicharn Kumpinit, Director of SOS Children’s Villages Thailand in Chiang Rai as its representative. “Drinking Milk for Children” activity is one of CP-Meiji’s CSR projects, held for 2nd consecutive year at Meiji replica milk factory at Kidzania, Bangkok during June 1 to 11, 2017 which coincided with World Milk Day (June 1, 2017) to support good physical and mental health of Thai youth by drinking milk. The activity also gives opportunity for underprivileged children to have good health, for all people in the society to enjoy good health and quality of life according to the company’s standpoint that “good life can happen every day.” Children were invited to visit the replica milk factory and enjoy fun game of sticking Meiji Pasteurized Fresh Milk labels on the activity board in front of the CP-Meiji replica milk factory to earn the donation money for SOS Children Villages Thailand.

  Happiness and Fun for Children Year 2

  CP-Meiji Co., Ltd. continuously arranges activities to support youth according to its organizational objective to take care of community, society and environment for their sustainability. This time, it was a good opportunity to hold an activity to bring happiness with “Happiness and Fun for Children at Kidzania, Bangkok.” Great Milk Co., Ltd. the purchaser of raw fresh milk from dairy farmers’ group in Muak Lek, Saraburi to supply to CP-Meiji brought students from Ban Sap Sanun School in Muak Lek, Saraburi to enjoy out-of-classroom fun by enjoying and learning from real life activity through role playing in various jobs. One of the jobs was at CP-Meiji replica milk factory where children were able to develop both intellectually and emotionally at the same time. Beside that, the activity gave children sense of pride in their parents’ job as the source of raw material for CP-Meiji. It also let children witness how the raw milk their family supplied to CP-Meiji get carefully and attentively taken care of during production process resulting in high quality Meiji Pasteurized Fresh Milk that are ready to be delivered to consumers.

The company is ready to build and strengthen good relationship with dairy farmers and trade partners through the “Happiness and Fun for Children” activity. CP-Meiji as the country’s leading brand for pasteurized milk is part of the Kidzania Bangkok virtual town with Meiji replica milk factory where youth who are CP-Meiji core target are able to play and learn from the role in an adult’s job. It also encourages youth to recognize the benefits from fresh milk and to enjoy drinking milk for physical strength and good health according to the idea of “good life can happen every day.” The “Happiness and Fun for Children” activity also builds and strengthens good relationship between dairy farmers and trade partners. The 4th edition of “Happiness and Fun for Children” activity was organized to provide opportunity for children of dairy farmers who have been supplying milk to CP-Meiji from Pa Mai Utit 2 School in Pak Thong Chai, Nakhon Ratchasima province. The children would get to witness how raw milk their family supplied to CP-Meiji get carefully and attentively taken care of during production process resulting in high quality Meiji Pasteurized Fresh Milk that are ready to be delivered to consumers. And in the 5th edition of “Happiness and Fun for Children” activity was organized for students of Sakolsuksa School in Bang Bua Thong, as company’s trade partner for the children to play and learn from the CP-Meiji replica milk factory about the process involved in the production of quality milk products.
